For those playing along at home, ABC2 is showing Torchwood and Being Human back to back tonight! (8.30 & 9.20)

I knew Torchwood was going to on but I didn't know about Being Human. I've wanted to see it ever since lydia_petze posted the trailer for it a few months back.

I only hope that dinner and dishes are over and done with by then.

I really don't have the words to describe how wonderful it is. It's sweet and heartbreaking and exciting and everything I was hoping for. Well worth the three days it took me to get through it.

Round this time of night if my brother or I or both of us are still up, our little cat Princess starts to randomly meow. She wants her dry food, which is usually on a plate on the kitchen bench. She won't shut up until one of us puts it down for her. Once it's down though she wanders off, only sometimes eating some of it. The moment we put it up again, she starts squealing. We can't leave it down or her fat sister Ebony comes up and eats it, more often than not, pushing Princess out of the way and that being the reason she's fat.

Tell Ebony off for stealing food, she goes and sulks.

Tell Princess off for the constant meowing, she runs around the house like a complete nut case, scratching things she shouldn't then comes back and starts meowing again.

It's never ending madness!

Early morning Rage was good to me today. I got to see Eskimo Joe 'Foreign Land', Coldplay 'Glass Of Water', Franz Ferdinand 'No You Girls', The Killers 'World That We Live In' and U2 'Magnificent'.

Then I went shopping. Managed not to back into anyone this time. E says a brand new boot lid will cost me just over $300 plus paint so it's lucky I haven't spent my Ruddy money yet. All I bought today was a pair of black tights, 3 balls of wool (2 black, 1 variegated baby blue) and a set of wiper blades.

Now I'm back doing what I do best and that's wasting time on the net.

Went and did a bit of Mother's Day shopping with my brother tonight. As we were leaving we stopped in at the bottle shop so he could get some whiskey. When we went up to pay for it, the young guy serving us asked ME for ID. I thought that was brilliant! I'm 24 years and old and i'm getting asked for ID when i'm not even buying anything. I didn't even touch the bottle. The guy was all apologetic about it but hey, he was just doing his job. He told us he'd had a 17 yr old in before us trying to buy stuff. My brother told is younger than me and he didn't get asked but that probably because he's looks older especially with the beard he's sporting right now.

It's only the second time in my entire life that i've been asked. The first time I was 22 and I was in the store with my mum who was getting a bottle of whiskey for my Dad and all I did was reach over Mum's shoulder to pick up the bottle to carry it out to the car and the woman on at the counter pretty much snatched it away from me until I showed her my driver's license.

I don't go to pubs and clubs so on the rare occasion when I do get asked it's awesome.

Driving down to JB HiFi (I got Twilight and December Boys) and somehow we got talking about "the barracuda". A live version of 'Gloria' by U2 comes on the radio so I turned it up. We're sitting at some traffic lights and the line "oh Lord, loosen my lips" crops up and my brother straight out starts yelling at the radio "It's not a Gloria, Bono! It's a barracuda!". It was lucky we were stopped or I probably would have driven off the road I was laughing that hard.

Got home from work today and Ma tells me that she saw "the 3 guys from Supernatural" on the news this morning. She said that one of them said they would like to be killed off at the end.

Me: Which one?
Mum: I don't know. He was wearing a beanie.
Me: Well Jared wore a beanie the other morning.
Mum: It was the skinnier one.
Me: That would probably be Jared. Tall one or short one?
Mum: They were both sitting down.
Me: *raids SPN pics*

Ok, which one?
Mum: *points at Jared* That one.
Me: *giggling* Glad we got that sorted.
